Adrian Schild
 March 19, 1947 - May 22, 2013

Adrian was born on March 19, 1947 in Sewanee, Tennessee and spent his early childhood "on the mountain" in Tracy City. From early on music was his love. He was a member of the select choral group Stranahan Singers in high school in Fort Lauderdale. During that time he, along with Jack Vanderplate, Roger Wise and John Yergler formed a barbershop quartet that was really extraordinary. They performed everywhere, appeared in "Music Man", competed in SPEBSQSA at the state level and continued to sing together off and on for the next 45 years. He was a founding member of the Nova Singers in Fort Lauderdale, serving as president of the chorus numerous times and singing with them for twenty years. After moving to Milwaukee in 1996 he was selected to sing with the Master Singers of Milwaukee and also became a member of the barbershop chorus Midwest Vocal Express. He was singing with them when they won their first international medal in 2002 in Portland, Oregon.
Adrian was a general contractor and project manager by trade. He owned his own company in Fort Lauderdale for many years. There are numerous beautiful buildings standing in Florida, Wisconsin and Iowa that testify to his skill.
He was a lifelong golfer with a single digit handicap. Over the years he played practically all of the major courses in America. For several years he volunteered at the Transitions Golf Championship and as a ranger at the Babe Zaharias Golf Course in Tampa. He loved the game and the people who played it with him.
He died peacefully at the Melech Hospice House on May 22, 2013 after a long but bravely fought battle with cancer.
