Ken Tarnove
1947 - December 6, 2016


 

With deep sadness, the family of long-time South Florida resident, Kenneth Tarnove announces his passing on December 6, 2016 peaceably in his sleep after a long illness. Ken was born in Atlantic City, NJ in 1947. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 44 years, Barbara, loving sister and brother, Billie and Rick and adored nieces and nephew, Courtney, Lily, Alicia and Mikee. He was predeceased by his parents, Edna and Joseph. After being raised in Atlantic City, a childhood that he always remembered with great fondness, he moved with his family in the fifties to Fort Lauderdale. He graduated from Stranahan High School and obtained his undergraduate degree from University of Miami. He found his work passion as a jeweler and owner of Tarnove Diamonds. He loved to travel and play golf. He was a great humanitarian, supporting the Jewish community, University of Miami and other notable causes. His presence should be remembered by all that knew him, so that his legacy will live on forever. Tell his story, so all will know him.
