With deep sadness, the family of long-time South Florida
resident, Kenneth Tarnove announces his passing on
December 6, 2016 peaceably in his sleep after a long
illness. Ken was born in Atlantic City, NJ in 1947. He
is survived by the love of his life and wife of 44
years, Barbara, loving sister and brother, Billie and
Rick and adored nieces and nephew, Courtney, Lily,
Alicia and Mikee. He was predeceased by his parents,
Edna and Joseph. After being raised in Atlantic City, a
childhood that he always remembered with great fondness,
he moved with his family in the fifties to Fort
Lauderdale. He graduated from Stranahan High School and
obtained his undergraduate degree from University of
Miami. He found his work passion as a jeweler and owner
of Tarnove Diamonds. He loved to travel and play golf.
He was a great humanitarian, supporting the Jewish
community, University of Miami and other notable causes.
His presence should be remembered by all that knew him,
so that his legacy will live on forever. Tell his story,
so all will know him. |
