Memories of Coach Wohrman by Mike (Ling) Lednovich Along with being a tremendous coach and performer, Coach Wohrman displayed his incredible athletic abilities in unusual ways. I recall one afternoon walking by the Stranahan H.S. pool and seeing Coach Wohrman doing a handstand on the pool deck. He not only held the handstand position, but then proceeded to begin walking on his hands on a complete lap around the pool. I couldn't believe my eyes. Simply amazing.
