My remarks about OK was only to tease Graham about his state. As for my vote, I would consider somewhere in Tenn, i.e. Gatlinburg area. Close enough to Fla. and other states. Again, only a thought....

Hey everyone, things are in the thinking stages right now. We need input as to just how many are up for a Birthday Party before we start thinking about where. We are open to locale suggestions. Oklahoma is one that has been suggested so far. Gregg - we will hold it in the fall and hopefully out of any weather season issues, Gary. If the interest is enough to put the gears in motion, then the places will start being researched. Send your ideas to the ideas@stranahan65.com address so we can compile them. We want to try and make it as cost effective as possible, locale and accomodationally affordable and also still have a good time. So everyone please let us know your interest as the time window is getting close on planning for Fall of 2012. Have a Great Labor Day weekend.

Hey, 65ers! I'm a member of the class of '64 that graduated just ahead of you. Maybe someone who posts here even remembers me. I knew quite a few kids from the Class of '65--through clubs, athletics and classes. I knew Jim Napolitan quite well(his brother Jerry was in my class). I really like how you guys have set up a web page to keep you in touch with each other. I'm once more living in Fort Lauderdale after 37 years in Los Angeles. I miss Cali a lot, but my mom and two sisters live here in south Florida as well. Hope everyone who lies in the path of Hurricane Irene escaped serious trouble and/or damage to their homes. We dodged the bullet here in Florida this time, but there are still three months left in the storm season. Keeping my fingers crossed. GO DRAGONS!!

Oklahoma? I've been to Norman alot in the last 8 years and it's not somewhere I would like to have a 65th b'day party. Too flat, too windy, too hot in the summer, too ? there has to be something else! ;-)
