The Sun Sentinel big sports section came out last Friday, they predicted a Fair outlook for the dragons, the first game was poor. Flanagan High won 16-0,it was a hot, humid, and frustrating night. There were some bright spots and its early,so heres hoping things get better for our dragons.Homecoming is on Nov.8th

Thank you, Donna Lagasse Hartag for letting me know about this website. I recognize so many of the names, and rejoice in their wellbeing; but I am deeply saddened to learn of so many who have passed. God love them. My husband, John, and I just celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary, and we are finishing up our new house. We downsized from a big, old historic house (1835)to one about half that size. Loving it. John works for Penn State and will probably never retire. I am still nursing and I probably will never retire either. Would be delighted to hear from anyone who is interested.

Does anybody remember Vickie Weller. Stranahan Class of 65 and know how to get in touch with her. Vickie and my wife Sherry Wade (Sherry Mongiove) were very good friends and I would like to let Vickie know of Sherry's passing.

It has been nearly 50 years since classmates Cliff Christian, Rory Raynor, Cherokee Paul McDonald and I rehearsed our garage-band in Bill Behrens’ living room. Flash forward a few decades and sometimes good things happen later, much, much, later, than ever dreamed of. My surf/garage band, The Berries, just released its first CD on the GoZombie label. To learn more, visit the GoZombie website, http://www.gozombie.com/ , The Berries’ blog http://theberriesarego.wordpress.com/ or The Berries’ FaceBook page https://www.facebook.com/TheBerriesareGO. Sound samples are available at GoZombie and video can be found at the blog. Rock on, Dragons!

On a happier note, I recently had a "chance meeting" with one of our police officers here in Oakland, TN. During the course of this "meeting", our conversation took a left turn from the subject at hand when it was discovered that we were both natives of Florida. I mean what are the odds in a small town in West Tennessee? It really got interesting when it was established that our old stomping ground was Ft Lauderdale, but plumb spookie when we learned both of us were former Dragons! Small world....

It was sad to hear of the passing of Adrian Schild. He will be missed but not forgotten. He joins our other beloved SHS65 Dragons who watch over us. Also, Sherry Wade, who would have also been in our graduating class. Deepest sympathies to her family. Rest in Peace, dear Dragonmates....!

I made a mistake in not giving the correct middle initial of Roger C Tavennner and that of www.sun-sentinel.com, to leave a comment in his Memorial Book. Many Dragons have. May he rest in peace. God Bless him, Lansky
