Just got back from a month-long car trip to Maine (5000 miles) checking out the leaves all along the way and they were spectacular. Was in Maine for the "earth quake" and managed to get home before the storm hit the Northeast. I have family in Maryland and the Carolinas, but they mostly just had some wind a lot of rain. Hope your families fared well.

I had dinner last week with my former Biology teacher Terry Hamilton and his wife Suzanne. In addition to having him for Advanced Biology, I served as his lab assistant my senior year. He looks great and has the same smile and quick sense of hunmor -- left Stranahan for BCC and retired to the NC mountains a few years ago.

A classmate is entering Holy Cross Hospital in FtL. on Sept 6 for heart catherization and then open heart surgery on Sept 7. Please keep this dear person in your prayers. We all know prayer works. I will leave identification up to the classmate to respect privacy. LET"S ROLL DRAGONS.... Let GOD hear us.

Thanks to Graham for all the wonderful pic's of the Birthday Party. Now all of us who could not be there can feel as though we were. DRAGONS FOREVER!
On a more somber note, our fellow classmate, Bob Kerlin, has lost his lovely Cathy after her long struggle with cancer. Please keep Bob and his family in your prayers.

Yes, Fred, Gary and I go all the way back to 5th grade. I have seen Gary a few times over the years, but it was the first time I had seen Fred since high school. It was great to see them (and everyone) at the Birthday Party. I have some video that will be ready for the website next month. Be sure to check it out! I’ll drop you a line!
