Had a great time at the Birthday Reunion at the Quarterdeck. Good to see friends from school and meet some of the spouses. Great activity as usual - sorry I missed the Party at Bahia Mar with the '67 class - bet that was great as well.

I too will miss being at the Birthday Party. My best to all attending and I KNOW a good time will be had by ALL. Ray, your sentiment to Elaine was true to your generous and loving nature. I am sure she is pleased. And....losing "Mr. Andy" is a loss to us all....an intregal part of our youth..."what it was, was football" indeed a classic and enormous Laugh. Take care and enjoy the Party.

IT BROKE MY HEART THAT SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON I KNEW WAS GONE. AT THE 40TH REUNION(MY FIRST IN YEARS) SHE WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT NIGHT THAT SAID "I KNEW YOU WERENT DEAD" REFERRING TO MY BEING ON THE DECEASED LIST ON THE WEB. SHE AND I MUST HAVE DANCED 8-9 TIMES THAT NIGHT,GOT TO MEET HER HUSBAND,OLDER THAN US BUT A REAL NICE GUY.I REMEMBER HOW HAPPY SHE WAS AND SO FULL OF LIFE AND ENERGETIC. ELAINE WAS ON THE 15 YEAR REUNION WITH US.REMEMBER. ELAINE WAS A SMART,CLASSY,FUN, FRIENDLY PERSON,AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED SHE WAS WAY TO YOUNG TO LEAVE US. WHEN I THINK OF HER NOW I JUST SMILE AND THINK BOY WAS I LUCKY TO KNOW HER GOOD BYE ELAINE GOD BLESS YOU

With the passing of Andy Griffith today, I feel like we've lost an old friend or relative. Very sad indeed. Ruby Wright, forth grade teacher at Croissant Park, introduced our class to Andy and his unique form of down home humor. She brought to school and played his "What it was, was football" monologue, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you Ruby, for the memories.....
