Thanks to all of the many workers and volunteers for this our 45th reunion. A special shout out to Mike Day from the class of 64 who showed up Thursday morning to help and continued working throughout the week-end , played in our alumni band as well as participated in the Sunday break down. We appreciated not only your hard work but your calming presence. We will post a detailed list of all of our special volunteers but in the mean time THANKS to all of you who financially contributed to the reunion as well as the guys and gals who helped decorate, assemble directories, blow up balloons, work the registration table, and sell souvenirs. A very special thank you to all of the guys who had to do the HEAVY lifting for our memory lane decor. Next time I have the bright idea to have a juke box and a pin ball machine in memory lane somebody slap me. Thank you all for attending and may we continue to share good times, good health and good fellowship.

The ReUnion was fantastic, thanks to all of you that attended and supported the event. We cannot begin to tell you what is in our hearts for all of you. Every moment will be treasured and remembered by us all. Photos will be posted once Graham, the Magnificent, gets back home to OK and puts them all together. Give him a few weeks as there are tons of photos and videos to process. My personal thanks and recognition to Jean Smith Newell and Graham Pugh, without whom none of this could happens. As a team we share the same feelings and goals for keeping SHS65 Alumni going. To all of those who diligently pitched in and helped before, during and after the event...our deep appreciation and love. Dragons 65....better than ever....and still FOREVER YOUNG !

The reunion was great! A special thanks to those individuals that dedicated their time and energy to make it such a success. It was enjoyable seeing so many old friends. If I offended anybody more than once, I truly apologize. Take care Dragons....

Dennis and Linda: OMG! A BIG hug to you both I know you can use one during your sons deployment. I had hoped to get down to the event for a short time so see who all made the journey - sorry you won't be there. I was GREAT to see you at the birthday bash in NC. Congrats on the new g'son! My son retired from the AF in Dec of 09 after 25 years w/ 2 tours over there. I understand the stress. More Hugs. How about you send some recent pictures of you and your family to share. Use my e-mail and I will take them with when I go. CALL ME sometime!

re.to dennis layton. will pray for your son and will hope the best for him and the rest of your family. I am well familiar with the stress you must be felling. I am a navy brat, my father was EOD, and was involved in the development of the SEAL program.
