Butch, great to hear from you. I believe that all the guys(ten)we left Lauderdale with for Parris Island are still around. As I recall,we were hot stuff until that bus stopped at the gate in the middle of the swamp at P.I. Reality set in quick then and never ceased.I personally never went overseas, spending my last two and half years at Camp Pendleton, Ca.I believe everyone else did go overseas, though. Johnny Denmark is in Gainesville,Fl. He was at the 35th reunion.I saw John Ahearn several years ago in Deefield Beach, but unable to locate him, since then.Gary Scott is in Boynton Beach. Bob Taylor(Mountain)spends his time between Europe and Myrtle Beach, S.C. Take care and again great to hear from you.

Gary Saracene found me a couple of months ago and gave me this web site. Didn't think much about it until I started brousing. What memories! A note for Mickey Pearson, have you heard from Johnny Denmark or anyone else from Plt 1004 at P.I.? Glad to see you made it home.

  Hello,

I'm trying to create a guestbook like this.
Can you tell me how you created the verification code without an image but as plain text?

I'm looking forward to your reply.
With regards,
Bart

  Hello Dragon's
I was in the graduating of 1960. Not at Stranahan but at Lauderdale High. You have a great website by the way! It was '59-60, I think, that the two schools split. FLHS is having its 50th reunion this spring and I was hoping to find any old Stranahan friends when I visited. I don't have a yearbook and am not really sure of some of the spellings (the mind gets squishy). Can anyone tell me were Ray Wolf (Wolfe?) is, and a few others as well? Is there a 1960 class list available?

Thanks for any help,
Bob Betz

Hi Class of 65! I am from Class of 75. We are holding our 35 year reunion on April 30 - May 2, 2010. I noticed your great website and would love some tips on what you do for your Saturday night program and that great memory lane. There are just a few of us trying to organize ours and we need some ideas. Past reunions have been very low key but we would like to do something fun Sat night. We have a venue and menue/bar but no music or activities set up yet. Please email me when you have a moment. Thank you!! Go Dragons! (we are taking a tour of the school on Saturday during the reunion!)
