Pam and I had a great time at the 50th reunion. It was wonderful to see old classmates and to meet some new ones. Hats off to Jean, Sherrie, and Graham.
From what I saw everyone had a great time...too bad it only lasted a weekend!

Luckily for us the Sun-sentinel got it wrong again, after predicting a loss for Stranahan to Norteast HS. last night the Mighty Dragons beat NE BY A SCORE OF 29-6. I like to think they did it for the class of 65, who are in town this weekend celebrating their 50th high school reunion.. Dragons are now 2-2 for the season......GO DRAGONS

Tonight Sept. 25 The Mighty Dragons will take on Northeast High tonighr in an away non-conference game. The SunSentinel has predicted NE will win by a score of 20-16 should be a close one. Tune in tomorrow for the final score...................Ray

9-4-15 Under cloudy skies last night SHS defeated Monarch by a score of 39-23. So far both games have been non-conference affairs. The SunSentinel sports page has 64 high schools listed in 12 different divisions. Clewiston and Bell Glade to the north and as far south as Key west . This year SHS is in Division 16-5A along with Hallandale, American Heritage, Cardinal Gibbons, Coconut Creek, and Miami Jackson ....see you next week.Ray

Sports reporter Ray Heaton is back on the beat. Last week SHS lost to the Dillard Panthers 31-13,as I was on vacation in the south of France there was no report. I am wintering in S. Florida this year so watch out for my weekly reports.
Tonight SHS plays Monarch H.S. at S. Plantation High School. YOU SEE SHS AND FT.LAUD ARE THE ONLY SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTY THAT DONT HAVE A FOOTBALL FIELD ON THEIR CAMPUS'S. Lauderdale still plays home games at Dillard H.S. Watch for my weekly reports................Ray
