Two tough teams, two weeks in a row. Last Thurs. night in a home, conference game SHS got walloped by a score of 64-13.........Not much more to say this week...............Ray

Well it wasn't fun, Friday 5 O'clock rush hour traffic to Miami for a 7PM kick off.Miami Jackson HS destroyed the Dragons 62-0. It was a conference game, so Miami Jackson is now 1-2 in conf. and SHS is 0-3 in conf. The Band sounded good and the cheerleaders did their best.but the Mighty dragons, took a licking, we will see next week if their still ticking..............Ray

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing people I hadn't seen in decades. I especially appreciated the very positive outlook on life displayed by all who attended.

Couldn't go to bed without wishing to very special people a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY Janet Winkler and Dennis Layton, I went to the same church as Janet and worked at Southern Bell with Dennis. Both of you put smiles on my face, when I think of our memories way back when. Hope it was a great day for you both. SHS won on your B-day YEAAAA

Its early Sat. AM (1:51am) but it was a very entertaining night. SHS won a hard fought game against South Broward High..41-28 I got goose bumps singing the Alma mater after the game. If you were at the reunion, you will remember the blue canvas banner, said STRANAHAN and had the Gothic dragon below it. Well, the last 2 home games it has proudly been hung on the press box for all to see. (approved By Jennifer the SHS AD). I will continue to display it for the rest of the season.

Hey everybody that was at the terrific 50 year reunion...so glad to see you all and if you didn't make it I think you missed the best one yet!!! The committee did a great job, Thanks again to them. I look forward to seeing all the pictures that you took...please get them to Graham Pugh so he can put them here on our website. If you were at the reunion remember I took a picture of you at your table on Saturday night and then Graham will be putting them here soon so look for yourself...please all you Dragons please take care and hope to see you at another Dragon gathering soon...you know we may have to have a 70th birthday party...Wow, now that's a good idea...Wanda

Well it wasn't pretty but it was a beautiful night for football with a nice breeze. SHS lost to American Heratige by a score of 42-7 let me explain a bit. Am. H. is rated by ESPN as the number 13 high school football team in the nation,so we really cheered when we intercepted a pass and ran it back for our only score of the night. The band sounded great.

YES, I was there, YES, I had a blast, YES I wish we could do it all over again.
Now for sports, This Friday SHS plays American Heritage at home (S. Plantation field) at 7pm. Its a conference game and I will be there wearing Orange and Blue.....GO DRAGONS
