OK Sports fans......here is a bonus report on our SHS Dragon football team standings...Overall we were 3-6, in district we were 1-4.our state of Florida ranking was 201st and nationally we were ranked 3,033. It will be interesting to look back next year and see the end of the year results...Lord willing and the creek don't rise (creek don't rise = a hurricane in Florida ) I'll give you the new numbers next season........signing off for this year, cub reporter Ray Heaton Jr.

Regarding my PS We all know about the pilgrims and Indians, Lincoln made it a Natl. day to observe being thankful, hence a new Natl. Holiday...Libery Bell Bailey would be proud of my correction.

Thank you Ray, for the lovely tribute to our Dragon Gal, Nancy White. She indeed was a brave and strong willed person. Our Dragon prayers on Facebook hopefully helped carry her on to peace where will will see her again someday.

When I read about Nancy on face book a lot of adjectives came to mind, strong willed, courage, brave, determined, forceful, and last at peace. I didn't really know Nancy thru the years after school, but I can tell you this, after bravely telling her story to us all on facebook, I will never forget Nancy White. We have had some really great Dragons in the class of 65, Nancy is one of those Dragons. RIP......Nancy White
